The Financial Markets Infrastructure team is the business owner of all market risk platforms in use across the Commercial Banking Markets division.

The team is responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of all approved changes to those systems. Delivering small-scale change through regular release cycles, medium and large-scale change partnering with the front office business transformation functions, ensuring that risk management systems are enhanced.

As Market Risk Business Analyst, you’ll work with a collaborative team of 8 colleagues as part of the Financial Markets Infrastructure team; taking the role of project lead or lead business analyst for Risk on one (or more) business transformation projects.
You’ll take the role of both Project Manager and Business Analyst on risk initiated small change. This involves documenting the business requirements from all relevant Risk stakeholders, defining the test strategy, test plan and test cases as well executing the testing and resolving and escalating issues or any defects.

You’d also be Market Risk SME for Group Led Transformation projects (Ring Fencing and Fundamental Review of Trading book, FRTB)

You’ll have excellent stakeholder management skills and manage relationships across the business on project design and implementation and with our offshore team on data production requirements.

You’d have experience in Market Risk i.e. Expected Shortfall, Value at Risk (VAR), Stress testing and Sensitivities and experience as a Business Analyst. You may have experience with VBA and SQL, however not essential.
